The heat proved a motivator as students looked for some cool relief in the water – keen to win points for their respective houses. Many students wearing their colours – loud and proud.
Races were conducted over 25 metres and 50 metres and across freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
Organisers keen for the students to get involved and show some house spirit.
“I can’t wait to get into the water,” said Year 2 student Sophie Celovic.
“I may not win, but I will try my best.”
She got fourth in the freestyle event for girls 7 and turning 8 and also competed in the breaststroke.
