While there was a break in the rodeo action, a “kiss cam” went around the arena settling on couples and asking them to kiss.
The camera “randomly” panned to couple Dane Russell and Brooke Giffney when Mr Russell got down on one knee much to Miss Giffney’s surprise.

The 1500 strong crowd waited with bated breath until Miss Giffney responded “yes” which was met with thunderous applause.
Afterwards Miss Giffney, who was in tears, said she had no idea the proposal was coming.
“We’ve been together for six years and I had no idea, I’m in shock,” she said.
Mr Russell organised engagement with AELEC employee and friend Brittany Johnston. He picked the ring, in perfect size, kept it a secret from Miss Giffney.
The pair are staying at the Festival until Tuesday.
