Grey nomads, tourists, festival goers and locals beat the heat this morning and started the second day of the festival early.
By 9am Peel Street was already full of buskers and spectators alike, ready for a weekend of Tamworth exploring.
Campers have been set up from December onwards to make sure they’re ready to make the most of the Festival experience.
The main stage is up and ready to go at Toyota Park (known as Tamworth Bicentennial Park the other 51 weeks of the year.)
Tonight it’s all about the Tamworth Family Support Concert at Toyota Park from 6pm – we’ve heard a whisper some Disney characters might be making an appearance.
