In Barraba and Manilla, the ambassador will be Graham Ross, a radio broadcaster, author and TV presenter, part of Better Homes & Gardens since 1995.

Nundle’s ambassador will be John Harper, a farmer who started the mental wellbeing program Mate Helping Mate.
- Barraba RSL hall – 8am: community breakfast, Barraba Band; 9am: ceremony, address by Graham Ross, awards.
- Bendemeer Bowling Club, Hotel – 8.30am-12.30pm: free breakfast at club. Activities at hotel include flag-raising, billy-boiling contest, thong-throwing, entertainment.
- Memory Park, Kootingal – 8am-10.30am: breakfast (gold coin), thong fling contest, gumboot tossing, pumpkin bowling, best-decorated gumboot.
- Manilla pool – 11am-2pm: Morning tea, entertainment, games, face-painting, golden flipper swimming relay; noon: official program, address by Graham Ross, awards.
- Nundle school – 8.30am-10.30am: barbecue breakfast, trivia comp, children’s activities, ceremony, address by John Harper, awards.
- Tamworth Community Centre – 7.30am: church service; 8.30am: bush breakfast; 10am: ceremony, citizenship ceremony, awards.
- Bicentennial Park, Tamworth – 7pm: Toyota Stars Under the Stars; 9pm: fireworks.
