The 73-year-old woman is being assessed by doctors after she suffered serious head injuries when she fell on Tuesday. She’s listed as critical but stable.
Police are probing the moments before the woman’s bike and a truck collided on the Oxley Highway at Westdale.
The crash happened about 1.30pm.
The Oxley Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the collision and have seized the bike.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash but was taken for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the collision and believe some motorists might have seen the accident but left the scene before police arrived.

The collision forced the closure of the stretch of highway, near the Duck Inn Apartments, for several hours with motorists diverted around the scene. The road re-opened about 4.30pm.
Investigations continue.

A CYCLIST has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a collision with a vehicle in Tamworth.
Emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, or Gunnedah Rd as it’s known to locals, at Westdale about 1.20pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated a woman, believed to be aged about 70, for a head injury as well as suspected arm and pelvic injuries.
She was transported by ambulance to Tamworth hospital in a serious condition, a spokesperson confirmed.
Police are at the scene conducting an investigation and have shut the highway, near the intersection of Flinders St and the Duck Inn Apartments.
Motorists are being diverted around the scene via Dampier St, Wallamore Rd and Evans St.
