Their talking talents will take them to the state championships next week, where they are eyeing off the top prize.
After taking out the regional finals against Ben Venue Public School, Josie Humble, Ava Sullivan, Isabella Bramley and Zali Humble will head to the state finals of the Premier’s Debating Challenge, at Stanwell Tops.
The girls have been debating together for the past two years and next week will see them participate in debates over a range of topics.
“They have a theme for each round, it could be sport or media,” Teacher Andrew McDonald said.
“In the last debate, they had to speak on the topic; That every student should have to watch the news for an hour each day.”
